Maple is an 18-year-old Quarter Horse mare standing approximately 15 hands tall, and she is the kind of dependable, family-safe horse everyone searches for. This sweet mare is happy to quietly putz around with the littles or step up and go do a full day’s work when asked.
Maple has experience in the playday events and has been used for barrel lessons in the past. She has safely taught kids ages 3–12 and handles all the games like a true professional. She genuinely loves to be ridden and is always the first to meet you at the gate in the mornings.
She neck reins easily, even with just a piece of hay string around her neck, and is soft, responsive, and willing. Maple has been used for playdays, working cows, trail riding, and lesson programs. She confidently crosses bridges, water, and gullies with no issues. You can rope off of her, drag objects behind her, and she takes new tasks in stride.
On the ground, Maple is just as wonderful. She stands quietly for mounting and tacking, loads and unloads with ease, stands well for the farrier, and gets along great with other horses in the pasture. She is gentle, kind, and a pleasure to be around.
This sweet girl is truly ready for anything you throw her way and will give every task her all.
