Give your child a summer packed with adventure, horses, and fun at A Ranch Horse! Our camps help kids build confidence, improve riding skills, and make amazing memories while spending the day with gentle, friendly horses.
Camp Hours: 10 AM – 3 PM
Pro Tip: Campers may sign up for multiple sessions for an entire summer of horsey fun!
Beginner Camp–
2-Day & 3-Day Camps –NO EXPERIANCE NEEDED– Ages 5+
Each week offers:
- 3-Day Camp: Wednesday–Friday
- 2-Day Camp: Thursday–Friday
What your camper will do every day:
- Ride horses safely and have fun in lessons
- Groom, bathe, and saddle up their new equine friends
- Play games and activities that build teamwork and confidence
- Make friends and memories that last all summer

Training Camps – Ages 12+
For older or more experienced riders, our 3-day training camps focus on riding, horse care, and real horsemanship skills. Campers may sign up for multiple sessions.
Training Camp Dates & Pricing:
- July 15–17 – $450
- August 5–7 – $450
Every day includes:
- Riding lessons to improve balance, control, and confidence
- Hands-on skills you can use with any horse
- Fun challenges and activities to take your horsemanship to the next level

Payment Policy
- $100 non-refundable deposit due when booking to reserve your spot
- If needed it can be transfered to another open spot in a different session.
- Remaining balance due at drop-off on the first day of camp
- Payment options: Check, Zelle, cash, or invoice
- Invoice payments include a 3% processing fee
Media Policy
All campers will be photographed and videoed during camp. These may be posted on our website and social media, so parents and friends can see the fun!

What to Wear
- Jeans or long pants – great for riding and protecting legs from saddles
- Shorts – perfect for hot summer days when not riding
- Boots or closed-toe shoes – essential for safety around horses
- Helmet – required for all riding activities. Bring your own.
- Change of clothes – sometimes baths get messy, and occasionally the horses go for a splash in the pond!
What Else to Bring
- Water bottle – stay hydrated!
- Sunscreen & hat – we’ll be outside a lot
- Towel – handy if your camper gets wet while grooming, bathing, or pond adventures
Tips for a Great Day
- Label everything – so nothing gets lost in the fun
- Avoid flip-flops or sandals – safety first!
- Expect a little mud – it’s all part of the adventure
