Pixie is the kind of little mare that sneaks right into your heart. Standing around 14 hands and just three years old, she’s blossomed into a bright, happy young horse with a sweet personality and a future full of potential.
When Pixie first arrived, she simply needed some time, good groceries, and a steady routine to help her shine. With proper care and attention, she has filled out beautifully and truly come into her own. Today she’s healthy, confident, and absolutely enjoys being around people. She’s affectionate on the ground, easy to catch and handle, and has a gentle, willing nature that makes working with her a pleasure.
Pixie gets along nicely with other horses in the pasture and keeps a respectful, easygoing place in the herd. She also hauls quietly, loading and unloading with no fuss and traveling calmly wherever she goes.
Under saddle, Pixie is doing wonderfully and continues to impress with every ride. She has a willing attitude and tries hard to please her rider. While she isn’t a fit for a total beginner or very small child just yet, she would be a fantastic match for an advanced beginner or intermediate rider looking for a young partner to continue bringing along.
She’s already getting experience out on the road and has been taking new sights and traffic in stride, showing curiosity and a level head. With a few more miles and the right rider to guide her, Pixie is shaping up to be a truly fun and dependable little mount.
