We’ve recently located Hawk’s papers, and we’re excited to share that he comes with a nice set of bloodlines! His registered name is Smart Little Buzz, and he was foaled on March 14, 2014. With a name like that, it's no surprise this gelding is as smart and steady as they come.
Hawk is an 11-year-old Quarter Horse gelding, standing 14.3 hands and weighing approximately 1,075 lbs. He’s a dependable and solid partner, with the kind of heart, mind, and movement that makes him a standout on the trail or around the ranch.
He moves with an easy, floating trot and a smooth lope, and he’ll stop on a dime when asked. Hawk is definitely more “woah” than “go,” but he’ll move out willingly when you ask—making him perfect for someone who enjoys a calm, steady, and uncomplicated ride.
Hawk has primarily been used as a trail horse and has proven himself to be trustworthy, sure-footed, and relaxed in all sorts of terrain. He’s also respectful and easy to handle both on the ground and under saddle.
