When Whisper first arrived, she was a shadow of the horse she was meant to be—cautious, uncertain, and clinging to the hope that this time, things might be different. Her eyes told the story her body couldn't hide: a young mare ridden far too late into her pregnancy, her feet painfully neglected for years, and her body weakened by illness. She had every reason not to trust—but deep down, she wanted to.
With time, patience, and gentle care, Whisper slowly began to heal—her body, her spirit, and her trust in people. Just weeks after her arrival, on April 12, 2025, she gave birth to her beautiful filly, Secret. It felt like a quiet miracle. Whisper stepped into motherhood with grace, and from the moment Secret took her first breath, it was clear that love had finally found its way to both of them.
Whisper has blossomed into a phenomenal mother, patient and devoted. Secret is a reflection of that love—sweet, curious, and always ready for a good butt scratch. She’s the first one to greet you at the gate, bright-eyed and full of joy, with Whisper not far behind, quietly watching with the calm assurance of a mother who finally knows her baby is safe.
But Whisper’s transformation didn’t stop there. With her soft eyes and kind soul, she’s also shown herself to be a trustworthy riding partner. At six years old, she has a calm, “more woah than go” attitude and a steady, non-spooky nature that makes her a joy to ride.
Whisper is more than a mare—she’s a testament to resilience, to the power of gentle hands and second chances. She didn’t just survive—she became someone’s whole world.
We are happy to hold Whisper and Secret for 7 days with a $300 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, but fully transferable to another horse in the barn if Whisper and Secret are not the right fit for you.
