Cooper — 16-year-old, 15-hand, beginner-safe gelding
Cooper is an absolute gem. This sweet 16-year-old gelding stands about 15 hands and is the kind of horse everyone wants around — steady, versatile, and kind. You name it, this guy has done it: cattle work, trails, water crossings, obstacles, and he’s been trusted by many children. He neck reins beautifully and moves out in a smooth walk, trot and lope. Loading is a non-issue, and he loves a bath and being pampered.
Recent history: the last few years Cooper was mostly forgotten in a pasture and lived on grass only. The owners recognized he deserved better and have placed him where he can get the care he needs. Since arriving here we’ve wormed him and started him on a good diet; he’s beginning to come back, but he does need some time and proper feeding to fully regain topline and weight.
