Duke is 15 years old and stands approximately 15 hands tall, making him a mature, nicely sized riding horse for the family to enjoy.
Duke came to A Ranch Horse through absolutely no fault of his own.
His previous owner simply didn't have the time to give this beautiful boy the attention and care he deserves. Rather than let Duke go without the care and attention he needed, his owner made the decision to find him a home where he could be loved, appreciated, and enjoyed.
And we're certainly glad this handsome boy found his way to us!
Duke arrived at our ranch a little on the thin side, but we're already working on getting him looking his very best!
He has been dewormed and is now receiving proper nutrition to help him gain weight and improve his overall condition.
We also have our farrier scheduled to come out and give his hooves a fresh trim.
Just wait until you see Duke in another week or two!
With good groceries, consistent care, and plenty of attention, we expect this beautiful golden palomino to become even more handsome than he already is!
